Family road race with a half marathon, 10K, 5K, 1 Mile and a Kid's Dash through local parks in St. Louis.
Bodies Race Company brings the Golden Harvest Half Marathon & 5K/10K back to St. Louis on Saturday, October 2, 2027. They call it the 'Hometown Half Marathon,' and the whole thing is built around that local feel. Instead of chasing a personal best, it's a road race meant for the whole family, with courses routed through local parks to keep traffic and community impact low. It welcomes every pace and fitness level, so you don't have to be a seasoned runner to fit in.
There are several ways to get involved. The half marathon is the main event, and they provide pacers to help you keep your target speed. For the younger ones, there's a Kid's Dash for children aged 10 and under. The swag is a big part of the day: you'll get a custom designer shirt, a finisher medal, chip timing with live results, free finish-line photos and snacks, and an after-party. Age-group awards are given for the 5K, 10K, and half marathon, while the untimed Kid's Dash, 1 Mile, and Virtual events don't qualify. The organizer also runs a free 'Bodies Membership' for early registration access and swag discounts, and a 'Bodies Store' for race gear.
On race day, packet pickup runs from 6:30 to 7:45 AM, the Kid's Dash starts at 7:55 AM, and the main races kick off at 8:00 AM. The event runs rain or shine, moving to virtual only if the venue cancels or ice hazards make the road unsafe.
