Geek Trivia

Geek Trivia is back at The Heavy Anchor on Tuesday, October 27, starting at 9 PM. It's a weekly quiz night run by the bar, which sits at 5226 Gravois Avenue in South St. Louis, and it's free to play. The winning team walks away with a round of drinks, so it's a low-stakes way to spend a Tuesday night with a few friends.

The categories change every week, and you won't know what they are until the day of the trivia. The Heavy Anchor posts the lineup in their 'Geek Trivia @ The Heavy Anchor' Facebook group, so if you want a heads-up on what to brush up on before you head over, that's where to look. One week might lean into sci-fi, the next into gaming or comics, and the one after that could be something entirely different.

Because it's a weekly thing, you don't have to worry if you miss one. If you're not feeling the categories on the 27th, there's always next time. It's as much about the drinks and the company as it is about the points, and since it's free to enter, there's no risk in showing up just to see how you stack up. If you do come out on top, the round of booze is on the house.

So, if you've got a few friends who know their way around a niche fandom, grab them and head to Gravois. Geek Trivia runs at The Heavy Anchor on Tuesday, October 27, at 9 PM. It's free to play, and the winning team gets a round of drinks.
