Off-season family night at Cardinals Nation where kids play games, win prizes and meet Fredbird, the Cardinals mascot, while parents dine.
Fredbird is hanging out at Cardinals Nation on Wednesday, January 13, as part of a series of family nights the restaurant runs during the off-season. It's a simple setup: the kids come in to play games, win prizes, and meet the Cardinals mascot in person, while the parents can actually sit back and enjoy the venue. If you've got little ones who are into the team, it's an easy way to get them out of the house on a school night.
That night is one stop in a wider run of these family events. The series kicks off on November 11, 2026, at 6:30 PM, and continues on December 9, January 13, February 10, and March 10. If you can't make the January date, there are a few others to choose from across the winter.
And there's a separate deal running alongside it: kids eat free every Wednesday from 5 PM to 9 PM. You get one free kids meal with every adult meal purchased, dine-in only, for children 12 and under. So if you're already planning to be there for Fredbird, you can make a meal of it.

It helps to know where you're heading. Cardinals Nation is a 34,000-square-foot, four-level venue anchoring Ballpark Village at 601 Clark Avenue Unit #102 in St. Louis. It's a two-story restaurant and bar that shares the space with an 8,000-square-foot Cardinals Hall of Fame and Museum, an authentic Cardinals retail store stocking game-used memorabilia, and a 338-seat rooftop deck overlooking the field. The whole place leans on Cardinals history, pairing an old-school vibe with a dining experience aimed at families, friends, and fans of all ages. The January 13 date is part of that off-season series, and kids eat free every Wednesday from 5 PM to 9 PM.
