Donny Benét brings his post-disco show 'Il Basso' to Delmar Hall, with OTNES on support.
Donny Benét plays Delmar Hall on Friday, October 30, with OTNES opening. The night is listed as sold out.
Benét is a Sydney-based solo recording artist whose sound borrows heavily from 1980s post-disco, produced and performed in a modern context. He released his first full-length solo album, Don't Hold Back, in 2011 through the indie label Rice is Nice, and his work spans electronic, synth-pop, disco, and post-disco. Following the success of his 2022 EP Le Piano, he returns with the next chapter of his instrumental series, Il Basso, which he describes as a tribute to the bass as the foundation of music. The tour takes Il Basso live alongside a selection of his favorite Benét classics.
