Weetwood Mac, a Leeds-based Fleetwood Mac covers act, perform live at The 1865.
Weetwood Mac are playing The 1865 on Friday 28 August, bringing their take on Fleetwood Mac to Southampton for the night. They're a Leeds-based covers act, so they've come down from the north to play the songs you'll recognise from the original band's catalogue.
If you're not familiar with the name, the pun is a nod to the city they call home: Weetwood is a suburb of Leeds, and the band's whole thing is built around the music of Fleetwood Mac. It's a tribute act, so the set is drawn from the songs that made the original band known, rather than new material of their own. If you've spent any time with the records, you'll know the sort of ground they're covering.
The gig is at The 1865 on Brunswick Square, SO14 3AR, in the heart of the city. Doors open at 19:00, so you've got the evening to get sorted before the music starts. It's a standing show, and the tickets are general admission, which means you'll be on your feet for the set.
