A live music session featuring Emo Riot within the Taking Back Thursdays series at Suburbia, covering emo, metalcore, nu metal and pop punk anthems.
Emo Riot take over Suburbia on Thursday 1 October, as part of the Taking Back Thursdays club night. It's a late one: the music runs from 9:30pm through to 2:00am, so you've got plenty of runway if you're planning to stay for the whole thing.
Taking Back Thursdays is a bi-weekly night that brings emo, metalcore, nu metal, pop punk and alt anthems to Suburbia. Rather than sticking to one sound, the series works in themed editions. Midwest Emo pairs twinkly guitars with heartfelt lyrics; Myspace Core throws it back to the 2000s MySpace top eight era; and Merry Axemas adds a horror-Christmas twist with a fancy-dress dress code, alongside a Halloween special. This particular night, Emo Riot, is built for fans reliving the golden era of the scene, with classic anthems, giveaways and non-stop pop punk, metalcore, nu metal and alt hits.
