A daytime clubbing event with 20th-century greatest hits, curated by Vicky McClure, Jonny Owen and Reverend & The Makers.
Day Fever comes to O2 Guildhall on Saturday 19 December, a daytime disco that trades the usual late-night clubbing for an afternoon on the dancefloor. It's one of the biggest daytime parties in the country, and the Southampton date is part of a wider UK and Ireland tour that also stops in Bristol and Birmingham.
The music is curated by Jon McClure of Reverend and the Makers, alongside Vicky McClure, Jonny Owen and the rest of the gang. They build the set around 20th-century hits, so you'll hear the big songs from across the century rather than just one era. There's also a bit of a request system: you can ask for your favourite track through the website before you arrive, and they'll work it into the mix.
Every week we pick 🏆 the 5 best 🏆 things to do in Southampton and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.

It's a daytime affair, so the party starts while it's still light out, and the same formula runs across the whole tour. If you've got a particular song you're hoping for, getting your request in early is the way to go. Doors open at 15:00 at O2 Guildhall, so you'll be on the dancefloor well before the sun goes down.
