Comedian Susan Calman returns to the stage with a night of stories, silliness and surprise, marking her return to touring after ten years.
Susan Calman is back on stage at O2 Guildhall on Saturday 31 October, with Tall Tales. It's her first tour in ten years, so it's been a decade since she last took a show on the road. She's a decade older now, and she'll be the first to tell you she isn't necessarily any wiser for it.
That gap is where the material comes from. Since her last tour, she's picked up a fair few improbable adventures: cruising the world, driving tanks, and the ongoing trials and triumphs of getting older. In between those, there's her enduring love of cats. The evening is built around stories, silliness and surprise, and she describes it as joyful, whip-smart and wonderfully unhinged.
She's well known from television and radio, but she says the best way to see her is live on stage, where her warmth, razor-sharp wit and unexpected dance moves come through. She still warns audiences just how short she really is, and she promises barely believable stories, laughter and probably some dancing. It's a night of storytelling rather than a stand-up set in the traditional sense, and the title Tall Tales gives you a good idea of the territory she's covering.

Doors open at 19:00, and the show starts at 19:30. It's for ages 14 and over, so keep that in mind if you're thinking of bringing anyone younger. If you've seen her on the screen, this is the chance to see her doing what she does best in front of a live crowd.
