Southampton alternative rock band Subdued headline with special guest support acts at the Heartbreakers venue.
Subdued play Heartbreakers on Saturday 10 October, headlining the venue's upstairs live room with special guest support acts on the bill. It's a local one: Subdued are a four-piece alternative rock band from Southampton, and this is one of the many times they've played around the city.
If you've not caught them before, their sound covers a fair bit of ground. They range from heavy, riff-laden songs to slower tunes with a touch of sentimentality, built on loud-quiet dynamics, atmospheric textures and punchy drums, all held together by Dan's powerful voice. They're a familiar sight on the local live scene, having played most of the area's small to mid-size venues, including The Joiners, The Brook and The Engine Rooms, and they've supported Reef on tour and played festivals across the south.
The show fills the intimate upstairs live room of Heartbreakers, a central Southampton venue opposite Houndwell Park known for its music culture and subterranean rock-bar vibe. It's a small space, so you'll be close to the stage.
