An evening of stand-up comedy with headliner Bob Mills and comedy friends at The Attic.
Bob Mills headlines The Attic on Saturday 12 September, with a few comedy friends joining him for the night. If you've come across his name but can't quite place it, that's because he's worked across a fair few different corners of the industry over the last thirty-odd years. He's written and starred in his own shows across most of the UK's TV and radio stations, written and produced series for other people, and made two films, which has put him in the position of being one of the country's most prolific stage acts.
Much of that work has been behind the scenes. He co-wrote and produced Stan The Man, starring John Thomson and Gaynor Faye; the six-part comedy-drama Northern Lights, starring Mark Benton and Robson Green; and an episode of Shameless. He also co-wrote the feature film Pierrepoint, starring Timothy Spall and Juliet Stevenson, which premiered in 2006. This is a stand-up night, though, so the focus is on the stage rather than the screen.
