Southampton Pride celebrates its tenth anniversary with a community parade, live music, cabaret, drag shows and an indoor market in the O2 Guildhall.
Southampton Pride returns to Guildhall Square on 29 and 30 August 2026, marking the festival's tenth anniversary. It's grown a fair bit since it first started in 2016, and by now it's one of the biggest LGBTQ+ events on the south coast.
The organisers describe this edition as a symbol of remembrance, resilience and ongoing advocacy, honouring the struggles of the past while looking ahead to the next generation. The main event is a free community parade that sets off from Queen's Park and winds its way through the city centre, with the celebrations continuing in Guildhall Square. Inside the O2 Guildhall, there's live music, cabaret, drag acts and an indoor market.
There's a bit of wider context to this one, too. Southampton has been named the host city for UK Pride 2027, so this year's festival sits just before the city takes on that larger role. It's a good time to see how the local celebrations have built up over the last decade.

Entry is free, and the parade starts from Queen's Park before heading into the centre, with the music, cabaret and market based at Guildhall Square and the O2 Guildhall. It runs across the 29th and 30th of August.
