A three-day creative culture club for children aged 6 to 12, exploring the past and making things to take home.
SeaCity Museum is running Culture Club for Kids: Wonderful Winter over three days this December, from Monday 21 to Wednesday 23. It's part of the museum's family programme, put on by Southampton Cultural Services, and it's aimed at children aged 6½ to 12 who like to learn through fun, creative activities. The whole thing runs from 9am to 4pm each day, with drop-off from 8.45am.
Across the three days, the kids explore the past, experience the museum and the gallery, and make things to take home. The sessions are led by the museum's own team of educators, so it's not just a supervised stay — there's a proper programme of activities built around the 'Wonderful Winter' theme. The sessions also visit the Art Gallery on occasion, so the children get to see both the museum and the gallery rather than staying in one building the whole time.

It's set up as a three-day run, but you don't have to commit to the full lot if that doesn't work for you. All three days together cost £90, or you can book a single day for £35. Drop-off is at 8.45am, and you collect from the museum at the end of the day. The museum is at Havelock Road, Southampton, Hampshire SO14 7FY.
