Concert by indie-pop singer-songwriter SOFY, known for her track Strawberry Milkshake, performing with a full live band.
SOFY plays The Joiners on Wednesday 24 March, with the night presented by Psychedelia. She's a singer-songwriter from Leicester, and she'll be performing with a full live band rather than as a solo act, so you'll get the full sound rather than just a stripped-back set.
Her background is one of those odd stories that actually makes sense of the music. She only started writing songs after being furloughed in 2020, and from there she picked up speed through BBC Introducing, eventually coming out as a runner-up in the 2021 Live Lounge session. Her best-known track is 'Strawberry Milkshake', and the set will sit in that indie-pop territory she's built her name on.

It's a relatively small room for a night like this — The Joiners holds 200, so it's a proper club gig rather than a theatre date. The show is for ages 14 and over, and it starts at 7:00 pm. Tickets are from £15.
