Celebrity Traitors star Romesh Ranganathan performs a sold-out Work in Progress comedy show at The Berry Theatre in Hedge End.
Romesh Ranganathan is playing The Berry Theatre in Hedge End on Friday 2 October, and it's a work-in-progress show. If you've seen him on TV, you know the deal: deadpan delivery, sharp observations about modern life, and a good deal of self-deprecation. He's a BAFTA-winning comedian and a regular on the screen, and this is him back on stage in the flesh.
Because it's a work-in-progress, the night is a bit different from a polished tour. He'll be road-testing brand-new, unpolished jokes and routines, the kind of material that's still being shaped before it makes its way into a full UK tour. It's a rare chance to see how a set comes together from the ground up, rather than seeing the finished version months later.
The show is presented by Off The Kerb Productions and is recommended for ages 14 and above. The Berry Theatre's main auditorium seats 306 and is fully wheelchair accessible, so it's a decent-sized room without feeling like a massive hall.
