Club night with pride hits and remixes, with special guest Ariel Flappers. Over 18s only.
Suburbia hosts the Pride After Party on Sunday 30 August, a club night built around pride hits and remixes. The special guest for the evening is Ariel Flappers, who'll be taking the stage as part of the night's line-up.
It's a club night rather than a concert, so the focus is on the dancefloor. The music will run through pride hits and their remixes, the kind of set that keeps a room moving throughout the night. Ariel Flappers join in as the special guest, adding their own presence to the mix. If you're coming for the music, that's what you'll find: a night of pride tracks and the remixes that go with them.
Southampton has a wide range of live music to pull from, and this sits on the club end of things. The city's scene runs from the O2 Guildhall, a Grade II listed Art Deco building in the Cultural Quarter that's been the premier live room for decades with a capacity of around 1,700, to The Joiners, a room of just 200 that's one of the UK's most celebrated launching pads, known for early shows by Coldplay, Arctic Monkeys, Ed Sheeran and Oasis. The independent circuit is held up by venues like The 1865, The Brook, The Loft and Heartbreakers, while the outdoor scene includes the TK Maxx Summer Sessions in Guildhall Square and Music in the City, a free grassroots festival that stages hundreds of artists in museums, churches, pubs, parks and even medieval vaults. The Pride After Party fits into that clubbing side of the city's music life.

One thing to keep in mind before you head down: this is a strictly over-18s club night, so you'll need to be 18 or over to get in. It all goes down at Suburbia on Sunday 30 August.
