Student night at Orange Rooms featuring bingo, cheap drinks, and dancing, with an over-18s policy.
Pickled is the student night that's taken over Thursday nights at Orange Rooms, the venue on Vernon Walk in Southampton. It's an over-18s night, and the whole thing kicks off at 21:00, running through until Friday morning. The format leans on off-beat fun rather than a standard club line-up, so it's as much about what's happening around the dancefloor as what's on it.
Grandma Sherry's bingo runs from 21:00 to 23:00, with prizes up for grabs alongside the dancing and party anthems. Drinks are £1.50, and £2 Werther's shots run all night. The night also plays with themes; a barn dance edition was billed as a night of country charm and cowboy vibes for students, with free cowboy hats on the door.
