Paint & Sip at The Bridge

The Bridge is hosting a Paint & Sip night on Friday 30 October, from 19:00 to 22:00. It's a guided painting evening, which is exactly what the name suggests: you paint and you sip. The session is led by an instructor who walks you through the process, so you're not just left to figure it out on your own. All the materials are provided, and you don't need any previous experience to join in, so it's as much for people who've never touched a brush as for those who do.

The theme for the night is Halloween, and you'll be creating your own Halloween-inspired piece. There are drinks deals available on the night, so you can keep your glass full while you work. Spaces are limited, which is worth keeping in mind if you're planning to bring a group.

The venue is The Bridge, Building 42, University Road, Southampton, SO17 1BJ. It sits right in the city's Cultural Quarter, which is a handy spot if you're already out in that part of town. The quarter is home to some of Southampton's best event spaces: the O2 Guildhall for live music, Southampton City Art Gallery and John Hansard Gallery for special art exhibitions, and MAST Studios for performing arts, talks, films and comedians, with pop-up events filling the gaps throughout the year. The city also plays host to several internationally known events, such as the Southampton International Boat Show in September and the ABP Southampton Marathon in the spring.
