Club night with no rules and pure party energy in the main room at Medbar, featuring commercial R&B, chart hits, reggaeton, and dance anthems.
Nothing But Hits is back at Medbar on Friday 16 October, the Friday night party that runs every week downstairs. It's billed as 'no rules, no limits' with party energy all night long, and the music doesn't stick to one lane. The set pulls from commercial R&B, chart hits, reggaeton and Latin bangers, 90s and 00s throwbacks, classic and new dance anthems, guilty pleasures, pop favourites, UK garage classics and commercial drum & bass. It's the kind of night where the playlist jumps between eras and genres without much warning, so you're as likely to hear a 90s throwback as a current chart hit.
Medbar sits on the corner of Oxford Street and Terminus Terrace, and it wears a few different hats. By day it's a pub for lunches and Sunday roasts; by night it's a cabaret bar that hosts bingo and quizzes. This is the downstairs room, and it's part of a pedestrianised stretch of Oxford Street known for its independent dining and al fresco spots. If you're coming from elsewhere in the city, it's easy to find right in the heart of Southampton.

There's a bit of a lead-in if you want to start early: 2-for-1 cocktails run from 4pm to 8pm, and you can book table and drinks packages if you're heading down with a group. The night itself runs from 8pm to 2am, so there's plenty of room to settle in. If you're planning to make a proper evening of it, the cocktails start well before the main room opens, and the music carries through until the early hours. It's on Friday 16 October, 8pm to 2am, at Medbar, 50 Oxford Street, Southampton, SO14 3DP.
