Milo Edwards performs his critically acclaimed stand-up show Catamaran, exploring the letters his parents wrote to each other in the 1980s.
Milo Edwards brings his stand-up show Catamaran to The Attic on Friday 16 October, as part of a tour that's taking him across the UK, Europe and Canada. The show is built around a very specific discovery: in 2025, Edwards found a collection of letters his parents had written to each other, tucked away in the back of his late mother's wardrobe. He's spent the time since turning those letters into a stage show, with the 1980s serving as the backdrop.
It's a personal starting point for a comedian who's built a reputation for being one of the smartest and most vital stand-ups working in the UK. Catamaran has already picked up a Leicester Comedy Festival Best Show nomination in both 2023 and 2024, so it's a polished piece of work by the time it reaches Southampton. Edwards is an Essex-born comedian and podcaster, and this is the show he's taking on the road.
