Marvin Humes brings his high-energy 2000s throwback club night to Engine Rooms, featuring 2000s pop, UK garage, R&B and dance anthems with a fully licensed bar.
Marvin Humes brings his Noughties Baby tour to Engine Rooms on Saturday 10 October, a night dedicated entirely to the music of the 2000s. Humes is the one behind the decks for the whole thing, and he's the one hosting it too. If you know him from JLS, that's the same Marvin — he's also a TV presenter and a Capital FM broadcaster, and he's stepping back into the DJ booth for this one.
The night is a throwback to the noughties, and the music follows that. Humes spins non-stop 2000s pop, UK garage, R&B and dance anthems, so it's a broad sweep of the decade rather than just one corner of it. The production is built around a warehouse-club feel, with high-energy festival lighting and a fully licensed bar on site. He describes it as a non-stop celebration of the decade's greatest music, packed with 'noughty' surprises along the way.
