Stand-up comedy gig with Lloyd Griffith, known for Live At The Apollo, Return to Paradise and Ted Lasso.
Lloyd Griffith is playing The Attic on Thursday 10 September, with doors opening at 7pm and the show starting around 7.45pm. It's a solo stand-up night, and he's the only name on the bill.
If you've come across him on TV, you'll recognise the name from Live At The Apollo, Ted Lasso, 8 Out Of 10 Cats, Soccer AM and Comedy Central. He's the son of Diane Griffith, and he's been working his way through the circuit since 2009, which has led to compering residencies at Get Up Stand Up in London and Therapy Rooms Comedy Club in Tunbridge Wells. He also supported Jack Whitehall's Arena tour, so he's used to playing to a fair-sized room.
Critics have called him 'the king of the unexpected', and a good part of that comes from the singing. He's got a faultless voice, and it's a regular part of his act. FHM once named him 'the next big thing', and the reviews have been consistently strong: Broadway Baby called it 'absolutely outstanding', Steve Bennett of Chortle described him as 'inherently funny', and Dominic Maxwell in The Times called it 'disarmingly good'.

This particular night is part of the work he's doing on a new tour show called Pardon, which will also feature singing. So you're catching him while he's still building the set. The Attic is at River Studios, 32 Winsor Road, Totton, Southampton, SO40 9HQ. Tickets are £12, though they're currently listed as sold out.
