Live gig by the Kris Barras Band, performing their hard rock repertoire including tracks from their 2026 album 'Monsters We Made'.
Kris Barras Band play The 1865 on Wednesday 7 October, as part of their One. Last. Time. Farewell UK Tour 2026. It's a bit of a heavy title for a tour, and the 'farewell' part tells you exactly what's going on: this is one of the final runs of shows for a band that's been together since 2015.
If you've followed them from the start, you've seen the sound shift. They began in the blues, but over the last decade they've moved into hard rock, and the numbers back that up. Their 2024 album Halo Effect hit number 5 in the Official UK Album Chart and took the number 1 spot on the Rock & Metal Album Chart. Before that, Death Valley Paradise reached number 27 in the UK charts. They've played Wembley Arena and the Royal Albert Hall, so this is a band that's spent the last few years playing rooms a lot larger than the ones they started in.
On stage it's a four-piece: Kris Barras on vocals and guitar, Josiah J Manning on guitar and keyboards, Frazer Kerslake on bass, and Billy Hammett on drums. Manning also produces their records, so the sound you hear on the albums is the same one they're taking on the road. Their sixth album, Monsters We Made, came out on 14 August 2026, and it's drawn comparisons with Black Stone Cherry and Shinedown — hard rock with a bit of grit to it. That's the record they're touring, and it's the one that sits at the heart of this farewell run.
