A special edition bringing together Southampton's DJ community for an evening of music, networking and live performances.
The Southampton DJ Community are taking over Engine Rooms on Sunday 4 October, from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm. It's a free rave and the closing night of the ER 360 Weekender, a special edition that's spent the week bringing together the city's DJ community for music, networking, collaboration and live performances. This is the one that wraps it all up.
If you're not familiar with the venue, Engine Rooms is the city's largest independent grassroots music and entertainment space. It went through a big transformation back in 2014 and has spent the years since as a hub for live music and club nights. The room holds between 400 and 800 people and does a bit of everything — live bands, club nights, comedy, exhibitions, theatrical performances and festivals. It's seen the likes of Scouting For Girls, Lorna Shore, Neck Deep, Hedex, Hybrid Minds and Sammy Virji pass through its doors, so it's a spot that's used to a fair few different sounds.

That fits the bill here. The whole point of the ER 360 Weekender is to get the local DJ community in one room, and this free rave is the finale. It's an afternoon and evening of music and live performances, and since it's a community-led thing, it's as much about the people behind the decks as it is about the dancefloor. It's free to get in, so you can just turn up and see where the night goes. It runs from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Sunday 4 October at Engine Rooms, West Quay Road, SO15 1GZ.
