A drum and bass night at EngineRooms celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Low Down Deep label, featuring a 360-degree stage experience.
EngineRooms is hosting the EngineRooms 360 Weekender on Friday 2 October, and this time it's teaming up with Low Down Deep to mark the label's 20th anniversary. The 360 setup is what sets it apart: the venue is built around a custom stage in the centre of the room, so the DJs are surrounded by the crowd on every side rather than tucked away in a booth at the front. It's a six-hour night of drum & bass, and this edition celebrates two decades of one of the genre's most influential labels.
Low Down Deep has spent those twenty years at the forefront of the scene, and its name is tied to heavyweight releases, long-running events and some of the biggest names in the game. It's a label that's helped shape the sound of modern drum & bass, so this anniversary is a look back at that history as much as it is a party. The line-up brings together a heavy-hitting mix of the label's core: Logan D, Eksman, Upgrade, Sub Zero, Ego Trippin, MC Shabba D, Majistrate, Evil B, Slipz and Weejii. That's ten names across one night, and with six hours to go, there's plenty of room for each of them to put in a proper set.
