Southampton's weekly Saturday daytime party with live DJs, cocktails and dancing from 4pm.
Daytime Clubbing is back at Medbar this Saturday 12 September, the latest in the venue's weekly Saturday day party. It kicks off at 4pm and runs until late, so you can get your dancing in while it's still light out rather than staying up until the early hours. If you miss this one, it's a regular fixture: the next few sessions are 3 October, 31 October, 7 November, 14 November and 21 November, with the Halloween special on 31 October running from 4pm to 10pm.
On the decks are DJs playing a wide range of music, and they don't stick to one corner of the dancefloor. You'll hear commercial hits, dance anthems and 90s/00s throwbacks alongside UK Garage, R&B/Hip Hop, Afrobeats, reggaeton/Latin, Amapiano, Dancehall and club classics. It's a broad mix, so whether you're into the current charts or the old-school stuff, there's usually something to lock onto.
Medbar is on Oxford Street in Southampton, and it's been trading since 2013. It bills itself as the city's No.1 late-night bar and club, and it's open until 2am every Friday and Saturday with two rooms of music and free entry before 10pm. It's also home to what the venue calls Hampshire's biggest party brunch, served across two floors. The daytime clubbing session is aimed at early birds who want to dance and socialise without staying out until the early hours, and it runs as the city's only weekly daytime clubbing experience.

Beyond the Saturday party, there's more on the calendar: a Latin Fiesta every Sunday with Salsa, Bachata and Kizomba, a Karaoke Night on Wednesdays, and 2-for-1 cocktails every day from 4pm to 8pm. Entry to the daytime clubbing is free, with drinks available from the bar.
