A flamboyant Halloween cabaret with burlesque, drag, circus and live performance by Southampton Pride.
Southampton Pride are taking over Guildhall Square on Sunday 1 November for Cabaret de Chaos, their Halloween celebration. It's an unapologetically flamboyant night that pulls together burlesque, drag, circus, cabaret, live performance and darkly glamorous spectacle, with a hand-picked line-up of performers. The whole thing is staged in the former Oktoberfest tent in the square, so it's a proper indoor setup right in the heart of the city.
One of the best bits is that you're invited to turn up dressed to thrill, so it's a night where you can go all out with the costume rather than just watching from the sidelines. The mix of acts — burlesque, drag, circus and cabaret — means it's a variety show in the truest sense, with different styles running through the evening rather than just one thing on repeat.
There's a practical side to it too: every pound raised goes directly to Southampton Pride, supporting their LGBTQ+ community work, events, advocacy and safe spaces across the city and the wider region. So the ticket does double duty — it gets you into the show and helps keep that work going.
