Concert by the hardcore and metal band Biohazard, with support from Sworn Enemy, at The 1865.
Biohazard play The 1865 on Wednesday 5 August, part of their Divided We Fall tour. They're Brooklyn-born agit-rockers with a conscience who preach inner spirituality, and unlike most guitar-led bands they carry two lead vocalists, each with his own distinctive style but a common philosophy: that the underdog needs a voice.
Support comes from Sworn Enemy, who formed in Queens, New York in late 1997. They're a caustic hybrid of thrashy, intense metal and the thud and grit of hardcore, a sound that pushed them to the frontlines of New York hardcore and metal. Between the two, the night brings together two acts from the same New York city, though from different boroughs.
