Alternative wedding show with a range of non-traditional wedding vendors, designers and celebrants, with free entry for under-16s.
The Eclectic Wedding Extravaganza is back on tour, with its Sheffield stop at Trafalgar Warehouse on Sunday 31 January 2027. It's an alternative wedding show that gathers a range of non-traditional vendors, designers and celebrants under one roof. The organisers call it 'not your average wedding fair', a place where weddings 'don't have to be beige' and can be 'whatever you want', and they encourage couples to shake off wedding conformity. The whole thing is built around the idea that your wedding should be yours, not a checklist of things you're supposed to do.
The vendors on this tour go by the name 'The Baaad Ass Mother Flockers', and the Sheffield line-up brings together a broad mix of celebrants, makers and planners. Among them are janethecelebrant, deckerdence, thecoutureco, deuce_event_hire, catcreative, foxgloveandblack, rachelparkin_celebrant, daisy_and_fred, himleyglamping, ijustcalledtosay__, havesomecakeuk, charlotteclarkltd, fleurandrebelle, assassynation and sayyes.design. It's a good spread to browse through if you're looking for something a bit off the beaten track.
The atmosphere is meant to be fun, friendly and relaxed, and there are a few thoughtful touches for different visitors. Under-16s are welcome and attend for free without a ticket, and a quieter time runs from 2 to 3pm for anyone with sensory needs. There's also the 'Sheep Hunt', where you can hunt for prizes around the show.
