Hard techno night by Tekno Junkiez at Panke Social, a fundraiser for the In Memory of Ashley Billyeald.
Tekno Junkiez are playing Panke Social on Saturday 5 December, with the night running from 7pm through to 4am. It's a hard techno set, and the night is a fundraiser for the In Memory of Ashley Billyeald fund.
If you haven't been, Panke Social is an independent 150-capacity music venue and event space in Sheffield city centre, on Exchange Street in the Castlegate area. It's run by the Bal Fashions collective and is a SIVA member of the Sheffield Independent Venues Alliance. The room is described as dark, direct and independent, with a permanent Pioneer DJ booth, a functioning bar and a Martin Audio sound system. It programmes promoter-led nights across hip hop, bass, house and techno alongside live acts, art exhibitions and installations, and sits within the Exchange Street cluster of grassroots venues that help sustain the area's cultural life. That's the kind of space where a hard techno night fits right in.
