Steelers v Clan

The Sheffield Steelers take on the Clan at Utilita Arena Sheffield on Sunday 3 January, a Sunday afternoon clash that'll bring the Elite League back to the city just after the New Year. It's a home game for the Steelers, and it's an early one, too — the puck drops at 16:00, so you'll be out of there well before the evening kicks in.

If you're not already across it, the Steelers are Sheffield's professional ice hockey team, competing in the Elite League. They play their home games at the Utilita Arena on Broughton Lane, and this is one of those regular-season fixtures that brings the league right into the city centre. The Clan are their opponents on the day, and the game is a straight-up clash between the two sides.

Tickets are sold through Ticketmaster, so that's where you'll need to look to get yours sorted. One thing to keep in mind if you're planning ahead: the arena doesn't run a telephone booking line anymore, so you can't just ring them up to grab a seat. If you need accessible tickets, though, there is a dedicated number you can call — 0114 256 5593, Monday to Friday, 10am to 4pm.
