Free 5K social run around Sheffield at a relaxed pace, with running socks from Bimble & Bolt and a post-run matcha at Sipp.
Sipp and Bimble & Bolt are teaming up for a social run around Sheffield on Saturday 24 October, with Tenzing joining in on the organising. It's a 5K loop that sets off from Bimble & Bolt at 7 Hickmott Rd in Sharrow, and the whole thing is free to join.
The run is described as a relaxed pace, so it's more about the social side than hitting a PB. Along the way, everyone gets a pair of fresh Bimble & Bolt running socks, and Tenzing natural energy drinks are handed out to keep you going. Once the 5K is done, the session wraps up with a matcha at Sipp to finish.
If you're not usually one for organized runs, the relaxed pace makes it a good entry point. It's as much about the gear and the drinks as it is about the distance, and the post-run matcha gives you a chance to wind down with the rest of the group rather than just heading straight home. The whole thing is run by Sipp, Bimble & Bolt, and Tenzing, so you'll be running with people from all three.
