Home Super League Basketball Championship match between the Sheffield Sharks and the Cheshire Phoenix at the Canon Medical Arena.
The B. Braun Sheffield Sharks take on Cheshire Phoenix at the Canon Medical Arena on Sunday 8 November, tip-off at 4:00pm. It's a home game in the 2026/27 Super League Basketball Championship season, and the return fixture at Cheshire Oaks Arena is already set for 14 February 2027, so this is the one we get here in the city.
If you're not familiar with the Sharks, they're a cornerstone of professional basketball in the UK and one of the most decorated franchises in British Basketball League history. They've got multiple BBL League Championships, Play-off crowns, and national Cup and Trophy triumphs under their belt, so there's a fair bit of silverware behind the name. Beyond the court, the club runs community outreach programmes and is presented as a vibrant part of the city's sporting landscape, rather than just a team that turns up for game day.
