Sheffield Sharks v Bristol Flyers

Sheffield Sharks take on Bristol Flyers at the Canon Medical Arena on Friday 11 December, a Friday night clash in the Olympic Legacy Park. It's a home game for the Sharks, and the Flyers make the trip up from Bristol to face them on their own court.

If you're not familiar with the Sharks, they're a cornerstone of professional basketball in the UK and one of the most decorated franchises in British Basketball League history. They've got multiple BBL League Championships, Play-off crowns, and national Cup and Trophy triumphs to their name, so they're a club that knows its way around a trophy cabinet. Beyond the on-court side of things, they run community outreach programmes and remain a vibrant part of the city's sporting landscape, which is why they're more than just a team that plays a few games a year.

It's a straightforward setup: the Sharks at home, the Flyers visiting, and the game played out in front of the home crowd. The Canon Medical Arena is the spot, right in the Olympic Legacy Park, so you're well-placed for getting in and out of the city.

Tip-off is at 7:30 PM, with doors opening at 6:30 PM, giving you an hour to get sorted before the action starts. Tickets start from £12, so it's a relatively easy one to get to if you fancy a night of basketball.
