Weekly Sunday fusion dance session held in the function room of the historic Kelham Island pub Shakespeare's.
Sheffield Fusion Dance is back at Shakespeare's on Sunday 25 October, as part of their ConFusion Sundays. It's a fusion dance session, so the focus is on the dance floor rather than a stage — the kind of afternoon where you're as much part of the room as you are watching it.
Shakespeare's is a historic Kelham Island pub built in 1821, and it's a proper multi-roomed local. It's kept a lot of its original character, packed with trinkets and memorabilia, and pours seven real ale and nine craft beer lines, more than 80 whiskies, and a low-and-no alcohol fridge. The session takes place upstairs in the function room, known as The Bard's Bar, which hosts a rotating selection of live events, from gigs and comedy to dance.
