Accessible one-day winter trail running enduro with 11 timed stages over 20km around Sheffield, followed by a party in the park.
The Round Sheffield Run: Winter is at Endcliffe Park on Saturday 9 January 2027, the smaller one-day winter version of the city's trail running enduro. It's a 24.5km route with 11 timed stages spread across it, totalling 20km of racing. Between those timed sections, you're free to walk or jog, and everyone gets a result for each stage as well as an overall placing. You can tackle it on your own or as a pair, with pairs having to complete every stage together.
It's built to be accessible and safe for runners of all abilities, with a rolling start and a minimum age of 15. If extreme conditions force a cancellation, the whole thing moves to Sunday 10 January. The racing is the main event, but the finish area turns into a party in the park afterwards, with a Thornbridge Beer Tent, wood-fired pizza, BBQ, mulled wine and a heated marquee to warm up in.
