First UK dates of Rocketsuit, the guitar-driven punk rock project of former Zebrahead singer Matty Lewis, with his debut album 'Hello, Apocalypse!'.
Rocketsuit Rogue play Corporation on Thursday 5 November, their first UK date since returning to these shores. It's a guitar-driven punk rock project fronted by singer and guitarist Matty Lewis, who spent years on the road with Zebrahead — a Gold record and more than 900 shows across 26 countries — before coming back to the UK to start this band.
The set comes from the debut album, Hello, Apocalypse!, produced by Cameron Webb, who's worked with Pennywise, Motörhead and NOFX. It's a record of deeply personal songs about struggle, survival and finding hope in a chaotic world, and the music is cinematic punk built on hooky guitars, soaring melodies and big choruses. The whole thing sits inside a visual world inspired by classic 1950s sci-fi and end-of-the-world cinema, so the songs and the imagery pull in the same direction.
Hello, Apocalypse! was released through SBÄM Records in Europe, and this run of shows marks the band's first dates in the UK. If you're coming, keep in mind it's 14+.
