Stand-up comedy show Jupiter by Rob Auton, following his sell-out nationwide tour.
Rob Auton brings his show JUPITER to The Steamworks on Saturday 10 April 2027, starting at 18:30. It's part of his return to UK stages that year, and it follows a sell-out nationwide tour throughout 2025 and 2026.
If you're not familiar with how Auton works, there's a bit of a pattern to it. He's a London-based performer, artist, writer, poet and comedian who each year picks a subject close to him and builds an hour around it. JUPITER is his thirteenth such hour, and it's a fictional story about the time he worked as an estate agent on the planet Jupiter. It sits in a long line of themed shows: The Yellow Show, The Sky Show, The Face Show, The Water Show, The Sleep Show and The Hair Show all came before it.
Outside the comedy circuit, he's worked across screen and radio. He's appeared opposite Danny Dyer in Marching Powder, in Channel 4's The Change and in the BBC's Starstruck, with further credits including Miracle Workers (TBS), The End of the Fing World (Netflix/Channel 4), The Russell Howard Hour (Sky), Cold Feet (ITV) and Random Acts (Channel 4). He's also a two-time British Podcast Awards Gold winner for The Rob Auton Daily Podcast* and a former Dave's Funniest Joke Of The Fringe winner. The Guardian described him as "a genuine original, philosophical, humane and funny to boot."
