Relaxed pumpkin painting evening at The Steamworks where each ticket includes a pumpkin, paints, brushes and a guide, with seasonal drinks and music.
Pumpkin Painting returns to The Steamworks on Thursday 22 October, running from 6 pm to 10 pm. It's back after a sold-out night last year, and the whole thing is pitched as a relaxed alternative to the mess of carving: instead of cutting into the pumpkin, you paint it and make something completely your own. No experience is needed, so you don't have to be an artist to get stuck in.
Your ticket covers everything you'll need for the session: a pumpkin, a selection of paints and brushes, a step-by-step guide, and the finished pumpkin to take home. The painting itself takes up the bulk of the evening, and the session runs for four hours, so there's plenty of time to take your time with it rather than rushing. The night is rounded off with seasonal cocktails, warming hot drinks and special drink offers, plus music and cakes to keep you going.
