Free screening of 'The Nightmare Before Christmas' for kids at Cutlery Works, with a favourite character from the film appearing in person.
Cutlery Works is hosting another session of its Kids Mini Movie Club on Saturday 28 November, and this time the screen is showing The Nightmare Before Christmas. It's a morning slot, from 10 am to 12 pm, so it fits into a Saturday without taking over the whole day.
The club is built for younger audiences: you watch a favourite film on the big screen and then meet a character from it in the flesh. For this one, that means The Nightmare Before Christmas on the screen and a favourite character appearing in person. It's a simple enough setup, and the character visit is what sets it apart from just putting a DVD on at home.
Cutlery Works is a food hall in the heart of Sheffield's Neepsend area, home to a variety of independent food vendors and a communal dining experience that's popular with locals and visitors alike. Beyond the food, the venue programmes a range of family events, workshops and seasonal activities throughout the year, and the Mini Movie Club is one of them. It's one of the family-focused things they run alongside the food side of the business.
