Squarehole presents Jordan Brookes: The Part of You That's Always Screaming

Jordan Brookes brings The Part of You That's Always Screaming to Shakespeare's on Sunday 8 November, presented by Squarehole. It's a solo show that started from a shocking incident on a train, and from there it opens up into something that's been seen on The Russell Howard Show, The Mash Report, Avoidance and Alice and Steve. The Guardian ranked it among the Top 3 Comedy Shows of 2024, and the reviews have been pretty consistent about what it is: The Scotsman called it "absurd... achingly funny", The List went with "majestic and challenging", and The Skinny described it as "profound".

Brookes himself is billed as the longest-reigning Edinburgh Comedy Award winner in history, and he describes himself as "the award-winning Elvis of comedy". The show runs for 100 minutes, which includes an interval, and carries an age guidance of 16+. It's worth keeping in mind that the venue isn't wheelchair accessible.

Doors open at 6:30pm and the show starts at 7pm, so you've got a half-hour window to get settled before it kicks off. Tickets are £12 if you sign up for the mailing list at squareholecomedy.com, and £15 for general admission.
