Joe Lycett returns to the stage with jokes, fatherhood, social justice and his time on Celebrity Traitors.
Joe Lycett is back on stage at Sheffield City Hall Oval Hall on Thursday 11 November 2027, with the show starting at 19:30. It's a stand-up night in the Oval Hall, the smaller space within the City Hall complex, rather than the main auditorium.
Lycett describes the set as one that brings together a few different threads. There are the jokes he's known for, a sprinkling of social justice, and material about being a father. He's also fitting in a bit about his time on Celebrity Traitors, so if you followed his run on that, there'll be something in here for you. It's a fairly wide-ranging mix on one bill, rather than a show built around a single theme.
For those who know him, the social justice side is a good place to start. He's spent a lot of his career taking on big companies and institutions with a mix of absurdity and a genuine point, and that's still part of the act. The fatherhood material is newer ground, and the Celebrity Traitors bits should give a good sense of how he got on in that particular game. Between those, there's the straightforward comedy that's always been his baseline.
