Harry Enfield marks 40 years in comedy with his favourite characters and a Q&A with the audience.
Harry Enfield is playing Sheffield City Hall's Oval Hall on Tuesday 24 November, with his show Harry Enfield and No Chums.
If you've followed his work, you'll know the characters he built his name on: Loadsamoney, the greedy nouveau riche; and Kevin the Teenager, the quintessential moody teen. He's a satirical comedian who describes himself as a 'stupid idiot', and he's spent four decades working across different formats. There was the double act with Kathy Burke in Kevin & Perry, the partnership with Paul Whitehouse in Harry & Paul, and the larger ensemble of Harry Enfield & Chums. This show looks back over those forty years in comedy and brings many of those favourite characters back to life on stage.
The evening is built around his signature satirical silliness, with the characters taking centre stage for the first part. After that, the floor opens to the audience, who get to put to him whatever burning questions they've always wanted to ask. It's a night that works in two halves: the characters first, then a chance to hear from the man himself.

It's a Tuesday night in the Oval Hall, so it's a mid-week date rather than a weekend one. If you've spent years laughing at Loadsamoney or Kevin the Teenager, this is your chance to see them live in Sheffield. Tickets are available through the venue.
