A nine-hour day party of music and dancing staged by the Green Party, with Green Party leader Zack Polanski, raising funds for the Sheffield Green Party.
Zack Polanski is headlining the Green Space Party at FORGE on Sunday 25 October, a nine-hour day party that runs from 14:00. It's a Green Party event, and the music is the main draw: they bill it as being soundtracked by the best and brightest of underground music from Sheffield and beyond, with DJs and political activists on the bill. Polanski is the Green Party leader, and he's also the party's candidate for MP in Sir Keir Starmer's seat of Holborn and St Pancras.
There's a fundraising side to it, too. Every £5 of the ticket price goes to the Sheffield Green Party, and the organisers say the series has raised more than £40,000 for local and national Green Parties so far. So if you're heading down, a chunk of your entry is going back into the party's work here in the city.

It's a day party, not a night one, so it kicks off in the afternoon and carries on well into the evening. The lineup is built around DJs and activists, and the whole thing is for 18+ only, so you'll need to bring ID with you. Tickets start from £10 and go up to £15, and it all takes place at FORGE, 148 Effingham Road, Sheffield, S4 7YS, from 14:00.
