Free screen printing workshop where you design and print your own custom tote bag, led by the 'Printed by Us' team.
Printed by Us are running a free tote-bag screen printing workshop at Cutlery Works on Saturday 7 November, from 1 pm to 2 pm. It's a one-hour session, and the whole thing is free, so you can spend your Saturday afternoon making something you'll actually use.
The setup is simple: you design and print your own custom tote bag, and all the materials are provided, so there's nothing to bring along. You don't need any prior experience either, which makes it a good one to drag a friend along to if neither of you has ever touched a screen. The session is led by the Printed by Us team, who'll be on hand to walk you through the process.
There's a bit more to the organisers than just the workshop. Printed by Us is a social enterprise run by The Archer Project, a Sheffield homeless charity that supports people into skills, confidence and employment through the craft of screen printing. So, the session is part of something larger than just a craft afternoon.

The venue is Cutlery Works, 73-101 Neepsend Lane, Neepsend S3 8AT, a food hall in the heart of Sheffield's Neepsend area. It's home to a variety of independent food vendors and a communal dining experience, which makes it a popular spot for locals and visitors alike. If you're coming from across the city, it's a good excuse to hang around Neepsend for a bit before or after. The workshop runs from 1 pm to 2 pm on Saturday 7 November, and it's free.
