Live gig by Oxford hard rock band Desert Storm at Corporation in Sheffield.
Desert Storm play Corporation on Saturday 14 November, starting at 7:00 pm. They're an Oxford-based riff-hound band who've been at it since 2007, and this is their only Sheffield date on the bill.
They've put out three albums and a demo over the years, and they've spent a fair bit of that time on the road across the UK and Europe. Along the way they've shared stages with Karma To Burn, Nashville Pussy, Peter Pan Speedrock and Honky, and supported Orange Goblin, Red Fang and American Head Charge. They've also played festivals like The Bulldog Bash, Desertfest, Brisfest and Roadkill over in Belgium, so they're well used to playing live.
The set will draw from their latest record, Omniscient, which came out worldwide on 26 January on Blindsight records. It was engineered by Jamie Dodd of Orange Goblin and follows 2013's Horizontal Life, so it's been a few years since the previous one. That's the record they're touring now, and it'll be the main thing they're playing on the night.
