Live stand-up comedy performance by Dan Tiernan at The Steamworks.
Dan Tiernan plays The Steamworks on Thursday 28 January, from 6:30pm to 11pm. He's a stand-up comedian who's built a bit of a name for himself over the last few years, and this is one of his Sheffield dates.
If you haven't come across him yet, the Guardian described him as a 'Mancunian wild-man' and 'one of comedy's most distinctive new voices'. He was nominated for the Edinburgh Comedy Award for Best Newcomer in 2023, and he's been nominated for the award twice in total. He's also put together three sold-out runs at the Edinburgh Festival, so he's well-used to playing the Fringe.
On screen, he's appeared on Live at the Apollo, 8 Out of Ten Cats Does Countdown, The Last Leg and QI, and he starred in the Dave series Unforgivable. His live shows blend storytelling with surprising magical twists, and he's gathered plenty of five-star reviews along the way. It's that mix of storytelling and a bit of magic that sets him apart from your standard stand-up set.
