Free hands-on business workshop run by Business Sheffield that uses guided exercises to help businesses create a practical marketing plan.
Business Sheffield are running a workshop on Creating a Marketing Plan at Electric Works on Wednesday 2 December, from 10am to 1pm. It's a three-hour, in-person session in the city centre, and it's aimed at businesses that are operating without a clear, actionable marketing strategy. If you've been winging it or just haven't had the time to sit down and map things out, this is exactly where you start.
Rather than a lecture, the morning works through a series of guided, hands-on exercises. You'll walk through your business goals, your strategies and your tactics, with the aim of leaving with a practical, step-by-step framework for a plan that aligns with your objectives and drives measurable results. It's designed so you're doing the work on your own business while you're there, rather than just listening to someone talk about how it's done.
That's the main thing to keep in mind: you're not just taking notes, you're actually building the plan. By the time you head out at 1pm, you should have a concrete way forward rather than just a list of ideas. It's a good spot to get your head around the difference between a goal and a tactic, and to make sure the two are actually talking to each other.
Every week we pick 🏆 the 5 best 🏆 things to do in Sheffield and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.
