Workshop by the Cathedral Flower Guild to make a Christmas wreath to take home, held inside Sheffield Cathedral.
Sheffield Cathedral is hosting a Christmas wreath making workshop on Wednesday 25 November, with the morning session running from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. It's held inside the Cathedral on Church Street, one of the city's most recognisable landmarks, so you'll be making your wreath right in the heart of the city centre.
The session is run by the Cathedral Flower Guild, the people who look after the flowers in the building. They'll guide you through the whole process of putting together a Christmas wreath, and the idea is that you'll end up with something you can hang on your front door or keep inside your home throughout the festive season. If you've never made one before, that's fine — the guild members are there to walk you through it.
One of the best things about this one is that you don't need to bring a thing. The guild provides all the wreath-making materials, so you're not hunting around for greenery or wire beforehand. They've also got festive refreshments on hand while you work, and you'll leave with your finished wreath to take home. It's a three-hour session, which gives you plenty of time to get it right without having to rush.
