An Evening with Johnny Nelson

Johnny Nelson is coming to Ponti's Italian Kitchen at Fox Valley on Thursday 4 February 2027, for an evening that's as much about the food as it is about the man. It's a three-course dinner paired with a talk and a Q&A, so you're getting a full meal and a chance to hear him speak in one sitting.

If you've never come across him, Nelson is a Sheffield legend with a record that's hard to top. He's an MBE, a world champion boxer, and the longest-reigning cruiserweight world champion of all time. Since hanging up the gloves, he's kept himself in the public eye as a boxing pundit and a motivational speaker, so he's well-practised at holding a room.

The night is built around that: the dinner comes first, followed by a talk from Nelson himself, and then a Q&A where you can put your own questions to him. It's a proper sit-down affair rather than a quick drink and a chat, and with the three courses, it's a full evening out.

On the practical side, it starts at 6:30pm, with everyone seated by 7pm. Tickets are £60, which covers the three-course dinner, the talk, and the Q&A.
