Stand-up comedy show by Abi Clarke, known for her relatable observational humour and viral online presence.
Abi Clarke brings her stand-up to The Steamworks on Wednesday 17 February, with the show starting at 7:30pm and doors opening about half an hour before. It's a single-name bill, so she's the only one on the night.
If you've come across her online, you'll know how she got here. She's a Bristol stand-up and presenter who lived the modern internet dream: she posted a video, went to bed a nobody, and woke up to thousands of followers. She started putting things out during the 2020 lockdown and built up more than a million followers across Instagram and TikTok in her first year, eventually reaching two million across platforms. After a sold-out run at the Edinburgh Fringe, she staged her debut show, Role Model, and her work has since appeared on the BBC, ITV2, Comedy Central and Channel 4.
Her TV credits include Dating No Filter on Sky Max, The Apprentice: You're Fired on BBC Two and The Emily Atack Show on ITV2, and she's hosted content for Question Team on Dave and Comic Relief. She's also spent time on the road supporting Phil Wang and Russell Kane. The set is built around her observational humour, the kind of relatable stuff she's known for.
